Language Training Business English

A results-driven 1:1 intensive language program designed around your current proficiency, professional role, and goals. Build the skills to understand Americans with ease and communicate fluently, naturally, and professionally in any business setting.

Sure, "advanced" English might help you breeze through introducing yourself in a meeting, making small talk at a networking event, or delivering a well-rehearsed presentation. But when it comes to leading, selling to, or collaborating with Americans, "advanced" might not cut it. For those high-stakes moments that call for persuasion and a touch of finesse, you need a stronger linguistic toolkit. The better your English skills ...

... the more you'll be perceived as competent by Americans.

... the faster and easier you'll integrate into the American workplace.

... the easier you'll convince and inspire Americans.

Business English. Done right.

If you want your message to really resonate with Americans, you’ve got to speak their language—naturally, confidently, and professionally.

That’s exactly what you’ll achieve with this 1:1 intensive language training—faster and more effectively than with any other course.
Tailored sessions with an experienced language trainer will help you master authentic American English for all of your business situations.

Imagine this:

# You’ve got a mission-critical presentation for your U.S. team. Your trainer helps you fine-tune it until you deliver it like a pro.

# You’re leading a meeting with American clients. You practice with your trainer how to moderate it smoothly and confidently.

# You’re collaborating with U.S. colleagues on a project. You work on giving feedback that’s both persuasive and constructive with your trainer.

# You need to address a tricky issue with a business partner. You craft an email with your trainer that strikes just the right tone.

Do you have questions about the training?

The number of lessons depends entirely on your current language level, your language goals, and your availability. If you can commit to 4 hours per week, you’ll make progress the fastest. Most participants find that 2 hours per week is more manageable, and after 10 hours, they already notice significant improvements (and so does their English-speaking environment). We recommend a minimum of 26 hours if you want to see substantial progress. For most participants starting at a B2 level, reaching a C2 level will take at least 52 hours.

To really thrive and make an impact in an American business environment, you need at least a C1 level of English. If you’re selling to Americans, training them, or leading teams, you should aim for near-native proficiency, which is C2 or C1, in order to be as successful as possible in your role. Additionally, your pronunciation should always be clear, even if you speak English fluently and fast.

A virtual training session typically lasts 1 hour, while in-person sessions usually last between 1 and 2 hours.

All of our trainers are native speakers with the appropriate trainer qualifications and experience. If you don’t quite “click” with the trainer we initially introduce to you, we’ll keep matching you with others until you find the perfect fit.

It really depends on what you want to achieve in the American business world and what your specific role involves. Language goals could include things like: being able to discuss a particular area of expertise fluently and with nuance, creating and delivering engaging presentations American style, formulating feedback that resonates with Americans, negotiating effectively, and so on.

A clear return on your investment

Imagine the following situations:

# You’re having a sales conversation with an American client. Your competitor is doing the same, but as a native speaker. After some smooth small talk, he skillfully highlights the benefits of their product with psychological finesse, then addresses the client’s concerns with nuance and ease. Can you keep up?

# You’re giving feedback to a team member at the U.S. office. Can you strike the right balance in your delivery, so it’s clear yet still motivating (and doesn’t become an HR issue)?

# You’re suggesting a new process to your American colleagues that will make work more efficient. Can you convince them quickly and concisely, highlighting the all-important “What’s in it for me?” without a hitch?

When you’re working with Americans, the quality of your collaboration depends on your English skills.

When you have American clients, your business success depends on your English skills.

That’s why 1:1 intensive language training pays for itself faster than you can say “What’s in it for me?”

Business English. Done right.

Say good-bye to clumsy English. Master English the American way for more success in business!
